I thought I might catch more attention with the title above that I chose for this blog post, instead of writing the actual title of the book, which sounds flowery and beautiful but does not grab your attention. This is a beautiful story of how one man come to know the infinite power of the saving grace of the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ when he decided to overcome his porn addiction. His addiction became so bad that he acted out on it and committed adultery, which resulted in his excommunication. His wife is amazing! She knew this was his battle to fight and overcome and did not take his addiction personally. They had eight children together through the mess of his addiction, they did not get divorced, and …I won’t tell you the complete rest of the story, but sufficeth it to say, it has a happy ending with his full recovery and rebaptism. Some of you old-time blog readers or students in my Mothers Who Know Class may recognize this author. Yes, he is the author of Putting on the Armor of God, a fabulous book on conquering evil. He can write such a book because he lived it as he was tutored by God on how to overcome his addiction. I am in awe of this man who has humbly shared his sins and weaknesses and his conviction of the truth as he repented.
