NFP Awareness Week #6: Contraception, Why Not? by Janet Smith

I know that NFP Awareness Week is over but I love the topic of NFP so I am going to pretend like it’s not over and keep sharing resources with my readers.

Here’s a classic talk by Professor Janet Smith that really helped to convince me and my husband over 15 years ago to switch from contraception to natural family planning. I heard the talk on audio cassette tape, and I have been searching for a digital version to share with you all. I am so happy to have found one! She explains that the best kind of romantic intercourse (code phrase for you-know-what) is for it to involve three things:

1. A man and woman who love each other

2. A man and woman who are committed to each other as evidenced by them getting married.

3. A man and woman who are open to life by not practicing contraception.

Enjoy!
