I hope you enjoyed last weekend’s General Conference. I sure did! We watched 3/4 of the sessions at home, and 1/4 of the sessions with my girlfriend/sis in law Sally’s family.

Afterwards we had savory s’mores, melted in their backyard firepit. So yummy! After the Sunday PM session of GC, we had dinner inside the house with slices of roast beef, steamed broccoli, and roasted root veggies. Then we sent the two teen boys (one son of each family) to build the fire. Sally provided sliced pineapple and a pepperoni and cheese tray and I brought bacon I had cooked a few days before.

I thoroughly enjoyed it! Better than regular s’mores! (The only part of regular s’mores I like really is the chocolate.) I liked having two slices of pepperoni, with cheese in between, then wrapped with a piece of bacon, then held close to the coals until the cheese just slightly melted. So yum! After s’mores, we went inside and played General Conference-themed Just One, which provided some fun discussion time and review of the talks. I’ve shown how to use Just One to make a customized-to-your-family themed game here. You could make it General Conference-themed by having people make custom cards using words from Conference notes and talks.
Here’s another fun way to review Conference: play General Conference Jeopardy! I’m excited that the October 2026 General Conference Jeopardy, prepared by Montserrat Wadsworth of agospelcenteredhome.com, is ready to play! Go over here to get it. It’s great for family game night or FHE!
I’ve used this game from Montserrat, after each corresponding General Conference, many times through the years. I’ve played it with homeschool teen friends from my children’s seminary class, with a son’s BYU FHE group, and with my husband and children. When I’ve played with my family, we’ve included the out of town children by playing in Zoom. It’s a wonderful review of Conference! I hope you enjoy it!
