About Me

I’m a mom with seven kids who loves to help other moms find joy in the old-fashioned womanly arts of wifing, being in tune with one’s fertility through your own body’s signals, breastfeeding, mother mentoring (in the form of homeschooling for me), and making dinner. I graduated from BYU with a degree in science but have earned my real education at home in the trenches with little ones who are unpredictable and messy. I left my full-time job at the Univ. of Utah Medical School to be a stay at home mom when I was 38 weeks pregnant and six kids later, haven’t looked back. Homeschooling, reading classics, writing, natural birthing and breastfeeding give me lots of excitement.

I also like to blog and be friends and cook and eat. I’m an LDS Christian who believes that following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the only one true way to happiness. I sometimes post political stuff, so just so you know, I believe in limited government and returning to America’s constitutional republic roots. And I believe in having fun and looking great!
