This is such a beautiful story of the power of falling in love with gardening. It’s a true story about Elliott Michener. He was a criminal charged with counterfeiting money. He was sent to Alcatraz, with every plan to somehow figure out how to escape. What happens instead is amazing! He gardened his way to freedom!
