John Hilton III, a Latter-day Saint Christian Scholar, on Different Translations of the Bible

Back in December 2025, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that it approves of other translations of the Bible besides what translation it has previously only endorsed, the King James Version.

I recently found an ESV Bible when thrifting and gifted it to one my children for Easter, shown below. I’m eager to dive in more and find out the different meanings that different translations of the same verse give me. So far I haven’t found any differences.
